Hi everyone, I'm Jessica I am a 24 years old and I live in a small town in Oregon with my husband Kyle and our three dogs, Lady, Piper, and Emma. Kyle and I meet in high school and have been together ever since, in the years since we got married we have had to learn from trial and error. We had some help from family and friends but most were self-taught. We have learned to live within our means and since my husband is the only one that works full time, we depend solely on his income. I am a full time college student and part time work as photographer taking family and senior portraits, but my passion is landscapes, I love reconnecting with the outdoors and exploring new places in my state. Oregon has so much history I just can't stop finding fascinating.

Living out in the middle of nowhere has given me the opportunity to learn some things about life and about myself. I don't need to get take-out every night (mostly cause there isn't one within two hours) so if we want to eat we have to cook, and also living on a budget is very important, cause running to the local market may cost you $4 to $16 dollars in full, it will cost us $50 to $60 dollars a trip. So I have learned how to cook, clean, and shop on a budget. This comes with challenges because not only do I have to have enough in the cupboard to last two to three months in case we get snowed in, but I also have to keep in mind what I have to survive during that time.

I love crafts and doing things with my hands, and I have made several things and created a few project, that I find useful to have and help organize any home. I have fallen in love with being green, and recycling because I know how important it is to use green product and as well as eating organically, both are very important to me and I try to come up with new and exciting ways to make things you find everyday but by making it your own and using recycled material you not only save money, but you also make something that is unique to you and your personality.

I started this blog, mainly because I get asked questions about my photography, what type of camera I have? How do I get certain picture? Just to name a couple, so I have opened this blog to give the opportunity to get questions answered and help others with other questions they may have. I also started to help others save money and help give them an opportunity to be a little greener in the process, and save our earth so I have more places to capture with my camera, and finally I started t So in 2012, I have decided take what I know to help others in this hard time, as well as learn from others....... Much like everyone else I am setting my goals for this upcoming year, so that I can become a better person. So I started to think about what I would do with a new start. I wonder what I will do with myself, am I going to graduate from college? Am I going to have a baby? Am I going to open my own studio?
So many questions, but only time will tell. My goals for the year are:

Enjoy every day like it is my last,
Smile more,
Laugh often,
Spend more time doing what I love,
Get rid of fears (snakes),
Stick with weight watchers,
Graduate from college (at least with this degree, to start off next year as a dental assistant),
Get healthy to have a baby (after trying for 2 years),
Go on a honeymoon with the hubby, and
Build up my business!

This year is going to be different because, I want my life to be filled with love, happiness, and success. I wish you all good luck with all of your goals, and hope that this year is better than the past years!!
