Welcome!

Hi everyone, I'm Jessica I am a 24 years old and I live in a small town in Oregon with my husband Kyle and our three dogs, Lady, Piper, and Emma. Kyle and I met in High School and have been together ever since, in the years since we've got married, started a business and live our lives the best we know how. We have had to learn alot from trial and error. Granted we have gotten some help from our families and friends but most were self-taught out of pure stubborness. We have learned to live within our means; since my husband provides our only income. I help with what I can since I am full time college student and part time work as photographer (taking family and senior portraits). I love reconnecting with the outdoors and exploring new places. Oregon has so much history, one can't help but finding historical and fascinating landmarks.
Living out in the rural community has given me the opportunity to learn some things about myself and life. I don't need to get take-out every night (mostly cause there isn't a fast food joint with in 60 miles) so if we want to eat we have to cook. Also living on a budget and planning ahead is very important, cause running to the local market may cost one $4 to $16 dollars in full, where to us it will cost $50 dollars or more a trip. So I have learned how to cook, clean, and shop on a budget. This comes with it own set of challenges because not only do I have to have enough in the cupboard to last two to three months in case we get snowed in or don't get the opporunity to come into town.

I love crafting and doing things with my hands, and I have created several things and a few project, that I find useful to have and help organize any home. I have fallen in love with being green, and recycling. I know how important it is to use green product to our earth and to our bodies. As well as eating organically, both are very important to me and I try to come up with new and exciting ways to make things one can find everyday. By making it your own and using recycled material a person can not only save money, but can also make something that is unique.

So in 2012, I have decided take what I know to help others in this hard time, as well as learn from others....... much like everyone else I am setting my goals for this upcoming year, so that I can become a better person. So I started to think about what I would do with a new start. I wonder what I will do with myself, am I going to graduate from college? Am I going to have a baby? Am I going to open my own studio?
So many questions, but only time will tell. My goals for the year are:

Enjoy every day like it is my last,
Smile more,
Laugh often,
Spend more time doing what I love,
Get rid of fears (snakes),
Stick with weight watchers,
Get healthy to have a baby (after trying for 2 years),
Go on a honeymoon with the hubby, and
Build up my business!

This year is going to be different because, I want my life to be filled with love, happiness, and success. I wish you all good luck with all of your goals, and hope that this year is better than the past years!!
